A huge well done to our Friends of Lainesmead Primary School and Nursery! Their recent fundraising has been a fantastic success: * The Big Raffle raised £402 * The Summer Hamper Raffle raised £358 * That's an amazing £760 in total! Every penny will go towards supporting our OPAL provision and the continued development of our school grounds, helping us create even more exciting, creative and enriching play opportunities for our children. A huge thank you to our Friends for all the time, effort and organisation they put in, and to every family who bought tickets, donated prizes or supported the raffles. We are so grateful for your continued support. What a brilliant community we have!

A reminder to keep safe Following information shared with local schools, we would like to remind all families to talk to their children about staying safe when walking to and from school or when out in the community. Please remind children to: Stay with friends or trusted adults where possible. Tell a trusted adult where they are going and when they expect to arrive. Never go anywhere with someone they don't know. If someone makes them feel uncomfortable, move to a safe place straight away and tell a trusted adult or call for help. If they need help, go into a busy shop or public place and ask a responsible adult for assistance. There is no cause for alarm but it is always a good opportunity to reinforce these important safety messages with children. Thank you for your continued support in helping to keep our children safe.
